their covers of Guns n roses Out ta get me and Skid Row’s Slave to the grind are awesome. Its get me amped.. so much so i listen to the covers as i jog an NOT the original.. crazy i know lol..
i just started to listen to Halestorm but she is pretty sic. I intend on keeping up with their music xD some songs that are covered sometimes sound so much better than the original but you gotta respect the originals!
Halestorm are a newer band to emerge. I’ve been following them from the beginning. Lzzy is amazing! They come from a small town in PA right near where I used to live. I have seen them live 3 times now. Lzzy did a duet with David Draiman (Disturbed/Device) which was just released today. A cover…. Close My Eyes Forever (Ozzy Osbourne and Lita Ford). This cover is SIC! I love it!!!
I heard about that cover very recently! I haven’t had a chance to listen to it but it’s on my to do list. I haven’t seen her live yet but her voice is very talented & I love that she very raw & not so girly. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some chick power but it’s awesome to know she isnt afraid to talk like a guy in her lyrics. she is badass!
She is badass I agree! One of my top fave women in rock!
