Revolver Magazine’s Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock Tour is just around the corner! February to be exact to March 2014. I’m not sure why I wrote the year, what tour would go all the way to next year 2015? AN AWESOME ONE! I can dream, right? Anyway, you will not want to miss this show. I’d love to go but sadly, it’s on a Monday and although I’m not far from NYC, I have this bogus, small problem: I have a job that requires my full attention before noon. Not that it’s not FANTASTIC (you hear that, kiddies? That’s called sarcasm) but I do need to be there on time so I can collect pennies and pay for my awesome 1 bedroom apartment and bills. Great, there’s that headache again! -.-
Sick Puppies, Lacuna Coil, Eyes Set To Kill, and Cilver will be performing this badass tour. I’ve been meaning to see Sick Puppies and Eyes Set To Kill. I enjoy their tunes, however, Cilver seems to be a new upcoming band from NYC. Not too shabby either. Uliana is the front woman, go ahead, try and pronounce her name. YOUUUUU-LEE-ANA? Whatev’s, cool story, bro.

Check out their video In My Head. I don’t know why but I love voices like this. She has this innocent, clean, girly voice but when mixed in with the guitar riffs at 2:44, she becomes the filthy, flirty girl she comes off in the video… with a heavy weapon 😉
Lacuna Coil has all my respect. She was actually the reason I wanted to try out for bands – err, band? (That’s another story!) Unlike Uliana, Cristina Scabbia’s voice has this haunting, echoing tone that I can catch instantly. My favorite song and video from them is I Like It. I’ve never interacted with her but she seems to showcase her playfulness throughout the video and the ability to have an open mind, which is already awesome.

Sick Puppies’ hot chick is Emma Anzai. She rocks on the bass and the song that caught me was Youre’ Going Down. Sweet Christ, I love the bass. I was not expecting a chick to be playing that so when I found out she was the bassist, I was quite impressed.

Eyes Set To Kill has two lovely ladies – sisters, actually. Alexia and Anissa Rodriguez. WHAT?! You mean there are other Latinas who enjoy metal? I thought I was the only one!!Infected’s video is alright. It reminded me a little of Disturbed’s videos. I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the song so no links to that, sorry L Infected sounds great, their vocals are raspy oppose to that light and airy feeling most female singers have.

These are great bands you want to see live. Who doesn’t want to stare at hot chicks rocking out on the mic or instruments? These are girls with REAL talent! Applaud them!
